Mike Cassell – Realtor
“I have lived and worked in Hillsborough County for 38+ yrs. My family moved here in the early 80’s from northern Kentucky for the Florida dream (Sunshine). I attended and graduated from Brandon High School; I began a career with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office in 99’ entering Corrections Maintenance Division. I promoted in this field to Supervisor of Maintenance and Construction at the Agencies 276 acre “state of the art” law enforcement training center in Lithia, Florida. In 2013 I decided I wanted to wear the badge, not just support it. I graduated from HCC with honors and began my career in Corrections at the Falkenberg facility, however it was not meant to be, after 2 yrs. I suffered a career ending injury. Not wanting to return to construction I transferred to the Conservation Parks Department as a County Park Ranger, I was quickly promoted to Park Manager managing Medard and then finally retiring from Alderman Ford Park with over 19 yrs. service to the residents of Hillsborough County.
